Gokyo Lakes are a stunning group of turquoise glacial lakes located in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal, within the Sagarmatha National Park. Nestled at high altitudes, these lakes are surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks, including Mount Cho Oyu, offering some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Himalayas.

The Gokyo trek takes visitors through traditional Sherpa villages, rhododendron forests, and challenging mountain trails, culminating in the serene beauty of the lakes. The highest lake, Gokyo Ri, also serves as a viewpoint for panoramic vistas of Everest and surrounding peaks.

Visiting Gokyo Lakes is a mesmerizing experience that combines adventure, natural beauty, and tranquility. The calm, turquoise waters reflecting the Himalayan giants create a magical atmosphere that makes it one of Nepal’s most iconic trekking destinations.
